Kate is an active exhibiting artist and also the Learning Programme coordinator for the Sidney Nolan Trust. Kate’s practice looks at the stories and events surrounding particular objects that express a sense of our identity and connect us to people, place and time. Exploring the personal value of ‘things’ gives momentum to her research based practice. This research and work touches on stories about the land, the domestic, childhood memories and WWII evacuation.
