Drawn by the river

Anne Bean embarked on large scale drawings using slip from our woodland clay.

Once dried the drawings we loaded into the transport box on Anthony's tractor and driven to the river which runs through the farm.

In a wide shallow stretch Anne ceremoniously submerged the drawings watched by our herd of Rodd Black cattle.

The drawings now washed and dried were layered with bronze and gold metallic paint and more slip and hung in the gallery where their presence created a quiet sense of beauty.
