Sidney Nolan: Works on Paper
Thursday 25th August - Saturday 3rd September 2016 / 11.00am - 5.00pm
As a poor young man struggling to establish himself as an artist in Melbourne in the 30s, Sidney worked on and with anything that came to hand. The results were often remarkable but equally often, ephemeral. This exhibition, focusing on works on paper, explores his fifty five year long career during which Sidney constantly experimented with new combinations of materials. Part of Presteigne Festival of Music & the Arts 2016.

Join us at the opening of the exhibition on Wednesday 24th August, 6.00-8.00pm, and then at the opening of Simon Dorrell's exhibition at The Workhouse Gallery in Presteigne till 8.30pm.
