In tandem with our current exhibition, join Nolan scholar and author of Nolan’s Africa, Andrew Turley, for a deep dive into these fascinating paintings. In this online talk, Turley will unpack the triggers, themes, and making of Nolan’s 1963 African paintings as we journey together with the Nolans through East Africa.
